The pestle rotates in the same direction at a speed of about 2.4 laps around one revolution. Furthermore, the force generated from the friction between the pestle tip and the mortars due to the rotation of the pestle rotates the pestle cylinder in the direction opposite to the rotation/revolution, so that the pestle entrains the material and the shearing force is increased to improve the stirring and crushing efficiency. At the same time, it prevents uneven wear of the top and suppresses frictional heat. The OR type has the most complete lineup of Ishikawa type stirring and crushing machines.
The difference between the OR type and the rotation method is that the pestle is forcibly rotated by the gears and a higher crushing force than the OR type is expected. For this reason, the AGX series has a variety of hard material pestle top and mortar materials.
The pestle only rotates and does not revolve, but since the mortar rotates in the opposite direction to the pestle's rotation, it draws a locus about 1.5 times more efficient than the OR type, which improves work efficiency.
The "use volume" described in the catalog is a guideline for the maximum amount of material to be added. Also, the amount up to about 60% of this "usage volume" is a guideline for the recommended "usage volume" to fully demonstrate the machine performance. Especially when processing high-viscosity materials with an emphasis on the crushing function, by using the material input amount within 60% of the maximum "use volume", it is always processed within the range of the orbit of the pestle top. Since there is a material, the pestle does not make the entire material uneven, and by doing so, a uniform stirring and crushing result can be expected without scratching. When processing liquid or low-viscosity, highly fluid materials, you can use the "use volume" as a guide.
Example) In case of Ishikawa type stirring and crushing machine A type, the working volume is 20 liters, and the recommended working volume is 12 liters
* The above is a guideline for selecting a machine. Before purchasing the machine, it is recommended to evaluate the stirring and crushing performance of the actual machine using the processing material planned by the customer.
We have prepared an experimental machine for evaluation with an actual machine in advance.
Depending on the viscosity, particle size, shape, and properties (hardness, malleability/ductility) of the material to be added, mechanical performance may not be fully exhibited even within the operating volume, and sales expansion may not proceed sufficiently. In such a case, the following can be considered.
Large amount of material input
Try reducing the material load (or if you can't do it) try a larger size machine. Especially when you want to process high-viscosity materials, a larger size machine has a larger clearance between the top of the pestle and the mortar, and the number of attached punches is also larger. Since the material can be rolled up, the stirring and crushing processing capacity tends to be high.
The order of material input is not appropriate
Try changing the order of input. Generally, when mixing powder and liquid materials, it is easier to stir and crush the powder when the liquid is added first and then the liquid is added. (However, depending on the specific gravity, bulk density, etc. of the powder, it may be better to add the powder later.)
The specifications, appearance and external dimensions of Ishikawa machines are subject to change without notice.
In some cases, it may be technically and economically difficult to manufacture a new machine. In such a case, we may suggest you a new Ishikawa machine.
